What we do

Our Services

Younger Minds Psychology is dedicated to supporting children, teenagers, and parents—at all stages of parenthood—throughout their unique journeys.

Whether you need a once-off consultation or ongoing therapy for your child, guidance during adolescence, or support as a new parent learning how to prepare for and navigate the challenges of parenting, we offer compassionate consultations and tailored recommendations to help your family thrive. We’re here to listen and provide specialised support at every step.

Initial Consultation

Duration:

50 Minutes

The initial consultation at Younger Minds Psychology is a foundational, collaborative meeting where we  discuss you or your child's concerns, history, and goals to understand your needs.

A pre-consultation questionnaire is completed beforehand to ensure a focused session. Together, we identify key challenges, develop tailored clinical recommendations, and establish a clear plan with meaningful goals to support you and your family's progress.

Parenting Consultation

Duration:

50 Minutes

This consultation, offered online or face-to-face, is tailored for parents seeking professional support and evidence-based guidance to address parenting challenges, promote their child’s emotional and psychological wellbeing, and determine whether intervention or a comprehensive assessment for diagnosis may be necessary. Through this process, appropriate recommendations and resources can be identified to best support both the child and family.

The child does not attend this session.

Perinatal & Postnatal Psychology Support

50 Minutes

The transition to parenthood can bring a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Our perinatal and postnatal psychology services provide compassionate, specialised support for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood. We offer evidence-based therapy to help manage anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and bonding concerns during this critical time, promoting mental wellbeing for both parent and baby.

Child and Adolescent Therapy

Duration:

Following the initial consultation at Younger Minds Psychology, we collaboratively develop a tailored plan for ongoing psychological support, offered weekly or fortnightly, to help your child achieve their goals.

These may include:
